Out of school clubs form part of the Government's extended schools agenda, and include after-school clubs, breakfast clubs and holiday clubs or play schemes. Extended school day provision is designed to help parents balance work and family commitments, whilst providing children with study support, and offering them a broader range of experiences and interests.

At Our Lady of Lourdes we are able to provide access to wraparound childcare at our Breakfast Club which operates from 7.30 – 8.40 am (teaching starts at 8.40 am) and in our After School Club which operates from 3.20 - 6.00 pm (2.00 – 6.00 pm on a Friday). These services are only available to pupils registered at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School.

The Clubs are staffed by a highly qualified team that provide high quality, stimulating care in a safe and secure environment outside of school hours. We aim to provide:

  • A hot meal menu that offers a wide range of snacks

  • Access to outdoor play
  • Access to a quiet area for reading and relaxation
