Pupils began by tearing and rolling pieces of red paper. Each ball was made with the thought of someone they loved. Together they sprinkled them onto a paper heart and created a heart which symbolised Jesus' love. A yellow hand print or two, from every pupil, was used to create the halo of light. We used one of our palm crosses, tissue paper for the tongues of flames and old bramble branches to finish. Ask your child to explain what each thing symbolises or what they tell us about Jesus' love. You will be amazed by their answers. Well done Elm.
