Advent Retreat Day
On Thursday 21st November, we came together as a whole school to spend time learning from one another and sharing valuable experiences with each other. We spent time speaking to Jesus through prayer, words and song.
In Year 6, we focused on the message of when we stray from Jesus and how we find our way back. We presented this work in different ways. Some of us decided to show this work through writing, art, drama, song and rap. We used our own experiences to think about times when perhaps we have strayed from Jesus and what helped us to find our way back to him.
We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to spend a whole day together as a school and become closer to God.
