Multiples mash up!
We love starting off a maths lesson with a super movers activity! This is something you could all give a go at at home too to secure your knowledge of multiples.
During our most recent China day, as a class, we made a traditional Terracotta Warrior out of clay. We learnt how to ‘score’ and ‘crosshatch’ to secure our pieces of clay together using ‘slip’.
This week, year 6 had their first Mandarin lesson with our wonderful resident Mandarin teacher, Ying! We learnt lots about Chinese culture and some new characters! Thanks Ying :)
We wish it could be art day everyday! We are looking at an artist called Paul Nash this term. He is a famous WW2 artist. Our portraits were made in the style of those by Paul Nash.
