Our class mass in May the month of Mary

Today was also the day the whole school took part in a procession to Mary's grotto, offering her flowers. The weather was beautiful. We walked across after mass singing hymns to celebrate Mary's importance in our faith.

Feeling down?!

Come take a compliment from year 5's happiness hanger!

Let's make everybody feel good and spread only love ❤️

Class Meditation and the 'burning of our prayers'

Aftrer recent otrocities in both London and Manchester, we felt it only right to pray for those who lost their lives or were caught up in these tragedies. Here are some pictures of year 5's responses to these events in the form of prayer and meditation. The prayers we wrote were later burnt in a class ceremony outside and offered up to God.

Linden's Lenten prayer leaves 🍃 we are 'turning over a new leaf' during this holy season of forgiveness.

Our changes will not only help to improve ourselves but our relationships with others.

We offered these prayers up to God during a Lenten prayer service we had in class.

Year 5's 'Random Acts of Kindness' wall

In year 5 we have made a 'Random Acts of Kindness' wall. Once a day we pull a name from our 'Names Jar' and that child selects an Act of Kindness to secretly carry out during the day (these were pre-made by the children during a PSHE session).
