Reception

On Shrove Tuesday we opened a pancake shop in Acorns. The children had to choose two ingredients for their pancake and work out the cost. They enjoyed counting the pennies and solving addition problems. Some children were able to use a 10p and pennies to make amounts to 20p. It is lovely to see children making links in their learning. Well done Acorns! Can you play shops at home? Can you help your child to count coins and add amounts? Post your work on twitter!
